The 2009-10 Northern Illinois Sports Beat Weekly Basketball Pick'em is just as good as
the football pick'ems, but are more challenging because the season consists of more
games, and more twists than the football season. But still, these contests are always
FUN and challenging.
The contest will begin on Sunday, November 15, and end on the final week of the Class
3A/4A regular season (February 28).
How it Works: Most weeks there will be ten basketball games for you to pick the
winner of. One week will be a tiebreaker game, which will be used to determine the
weekly winner. The tiebreaker is the total points scored by both teams in the game.
Some weeks will consist of picking the winner of a certain tournament. The tiebreaker is
the number of points scored in the tournament by the winning team.
