Like any newspaper editorial page, we welcome your thoughts. But how can we
offer such a thing, like guest columns, when we have a message board?
We understand the reasons why certain people important to the high school sports
world don't post on message boards. Too, we also understand the reasons why
those don't even look at them. At the same time, we strive to be a website that
anyone can visit.
Without the use of a message board, we can create opportunities for people to
dole out their opinions, observations and arguments.
COACHES (active and retired), ATHLETICS DIRECTORS, OTHER SCHOOL
PERSONNEL, OFFICIALS, and even IHSA Staff Members are welcome to write
"guest columns" or "guest letters" to us. Only those persons are open to this
opportunity. Please note that this is a volunteer opportunity - so no pay will be
offered for these.
Unlike a newspaper, there's no limit to the number of words to be used. However,
like a newspaper, your name and other school affiliation or hometown will be
published with your column.
